Our Story

A great story starts with a great team

From maths students to maths nerds. Our story begins in the University of Bristol Mathematics and Computer Science department. We wanted to build a platform that could teach and explain mathematics so we could automate our jobs as online tutors.

Our Story

AITutor was built by a group of university graduates who wanted to see maths done better

Each member of the team has tutored hundreds of students to top grades in their GCSE and A-Level maths courses. After seeing the dramatic grade increases that personalised tuition has with students, they sought a way to make learning tailored to the individual available for everyone, and not just for those who can afford a private tutor.

AITutor pairs the very human element of education with technology to provide the best possible experience for each student. Using smart learning algorithms it tailors questions and lessons to the individual, all while providing real human support and lessons that connect with GCSE and A-Level students.

Chief Technical Officer

Der technische Assistent von AITutor. Nachdem er seinen Master in Mathematik und Informatik an der University of Bristol gemacht hatte. Anschließend baute Adam verschiedene Full-Stack-Entwicklungsteams auf und arbeitete in diesen. Adam verfügt über einen großen Erfahrungsschatz in allen Aspekten der Softwareentwicklung, mit Schwerpunkt auf KI und Sicherheit.

Patrick Ohlenschlager

An expert maths tutor, Patrick oversees the creation of AITutor questions, as well as delivering the video courses himself. Patrick holds a first class masters degree in mathematics from the University of Bristol and dropped a single mark over the 6 exams of his maths A-Level, so you should be in good hands!

Chief Business Officer

Giulio war einst nicht nur Full-Stack-Entwickler, sondern leitet heute auch den Betrieb, das Geschäft, die Partnerschaften und das Marketing bei AITutor. Er schloss sein Mathematikstudium an der University of Bristol mit einem Master ab und spricht fließend Englisch, Italienisch und Spanisch.

Alex kam 2019 zum Team, nachdem er seinen Master in Mathematik und Informatik an der University of Leeds mit Auszeichnung abgeschlossen hatte. Seitdem hat er unsere umfangreiche Datenbank dynamischer A-Level- und GCSE-Matheprüfungsfragen zu dem Besten gemacht, das sie heute ist, und leitet mehrere technische Entwicklungen für die Plattform.
